Aspects of operations as pilot with 804 Naval Air Sqdn, Fleet Air Arm aboard HMS Glorious during in Norway, 4/1940-5/1940: in action against German aircraft; degree of confidence in deck landings. Aspects of operations as pilot with 803 Naval Air Sqdn, Fleet Air Arm aboard HMS Ark Royal in Norway and Mediterranean, 5/1940: transfer to squadron; opinion of Blackburn Skua; problems of dive bombing; attack on Scharnhorst at Trondheim, Norway, 13/6/1940; damage to aircraft. REEL 2 Continues: in action against Vichy French Navy forces off Oran, French Algeria, 7/1940; sight of torpedoing of HMS Resolution by Vichy French submarine Bévéziers off Dakar, French West Africa, 25/9/1940.
