Concorde 001 (F-WTSS) is rolled out at Toulouse Blagnac airport in France. The international partnership between BAC, Sud Aviation, Rolls Royce and Snecma is highlighted. The commentary notes that Concordes 001 and 002 were the beginning of the Concorde learning curve, and that the development work was carried out not just in the factories but also in design workshops, laboratories and computer centres. High standards of craftmanship on both sides of the Channel. Supersonic flight condition checks are carried out using simulated conditions. Concorde 001's public debut at Toulouse on 11 December 1967, attended by pilots and crew from the various airlines which intended to operate Concorde. Speeckes are given by French Minister of Transport, Jean Chamat, and British Minister of Technology, Anthony Wedgewood Benn. Brian Trubshaw and Andre Turcat, the British and French prototype pilots are also present at the launch. The film ends with Concorde positioned outside the factory at Toulouse, surrounded by a crowd of people.
