The South African Director of Non-European Army Services watches the black troops marching and displaying various physical fitness exercises involving relay and circuit training. II. 'PERSONALITIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.' Sir Stafford Cripps, on his way to India, and King George of the Hellenes arrive by aircraft at Heliopolis Airport in Cairo. The visiting dignitaries are met by British Ambassador, Sir Miles Lampson. Emir Mansour of Saudi Arabia visits Egypt and is shown in conversation with Egyptian Prime Minister Nahas Pasha. Emir Mansour is met outside the Royal Palace by Prince Mohammed Ali. The Emir later visits a Royal Air Force (RAF) airfield in the Western Desert, where he inspects a Vickers Wellington bomber aircraft with evident interest. Emir Mansour of Saudi Arabia inspects an unidentified British armoured unit at a desert encampment, looking over a Matilda Mk II tank and climbing into the driving position of an M3 Stuart light tank. The Emir attends lunch at the British Embassy in Cairo, along with Sir Miles Lampson, Air Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder, Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham, General Sir Claude Auchinleck, and Sir Walter Monckton, Acting Minister of State, Middle East.

German Luftwaffe Heinkel He 111 bomber aircraft overfly at high altitude with anti-aircraft flak bursts exploding around them. Brief footage shows burning Russian farmhouses and dead cattle. German infantry corpses are displayed. Russian naval infantry move rapidly across open ground. An abandoned German 7.5cm leichtes infanteriegeschütz 18 (7.5cm leIG 18) infantry gun is displayed (wooden wheels). Russian naval infantry look down from a vantage point over Sebastopol.
