- History
- 1. August 2022 the writing is now becoming difficult to read due to erosion. 2. Originally the war memorial was an arched gateway to the United Methodist Church entrance, with the tablets inset into two brick pillars surmounted by a Portland stone arch bearing the date 1914-1919, within which an iron gate was hung. The two tablets were moved in 1995 when the Old United Methodist Church was demolished.
