- Two framed sheets of printed paper, one bearing a provisional list of names put forward for the permanent Memorial, with explanatory notes, and the other bearing a Dedication.
- Inscription
- Frame 1: In Memoriam. 1939-1945/ Names/ These men from our parish gave their lives for us, and their country, in the war/ of 1939 to 1945/ Eternal Rest grant unto them, O Lord: and let Light Perpetual shine upon the./ This memorial is only meant to be temporary, until we can be quite sure that no/ name has been left off this list. In due course a brass plaque will be erected to/ commemorate the names of those who have made the supreme sacrifice./ Any names omitted should be given to the Vicar Frame 2: They shall grow not old/ As we that are left grow old/ Age shall not weary them/ Nor the years condemn/ At the going down of the sun/ And in the morning/ We Will Remember Them
