- Description
- Grey stone gravestone , straight vertical sides , complex series of curves at top , low relief carvings of leaves , an anchor and a thistle , all the dedications incised and coloured black , the gravespace defined by a low stone kerb .

- MEMORIES DEAR/DONALD McLACHLAN /SON OF R AND I TURNBULL/KILLED IN THE S AFRICAN WAR 1900/AGED 26 YEARS /………/AND THEIR SON ROBERT/WHO DIED SEPT 21ST 1944 FROM WOUNDS/RECEIVED IN 1942 WHEN SERVING WITH THE MEF/AGED 29 YEARS /HE SAID " BE OF GOOD CHEER"/ note - The commemoration wording is unclear but CWGC records show that this is the grave of Robert Turnbull , and the grave appears to be a family plot . Donald McLachlan Turnbull died in South Africa , so that part of the dedication is treated as a memorial .
