Description
Grey slate monolith with rough cut edges. Carries the 30 names of nurses, staff and infants who died on Friday, 30th 1944 when Weald House Residential School, in use as a London County Council nursery for evacuated infant children, was destroyed by a V1 flying bomb (doodlebug).
