- White marble plaque set on a slate back board , in shape of a shield , incised lettering coloured in black , at bottom a stylised exploding grenade and the word Ubique .

- In Affectionate Memory of /Horace Hervey Webber/Capt Royal Artillery/who died May 2 1869 aged 30/while crossing the pass of/Tinogasta In the Andes S America /of Puna a disease peculiar to /those high regions/his body was buried on the mountainside/erected by/his deeply attached relations/"Whene'er Thy Voice shall bid our conflict cease/Call us O Lord to Thine Eternal Peace"/
