Description
Shelly limestone ashlar cenotaph on stepped plinth with four flower pots and four bronze lamp standards. Wreath and sword of sacrifice on front face, along with circular city, royal, rn and raf crest. Large bronze reliefs of city crest on each side. Bronze lion heads at corners of plinth.

ALL YOU HAD HOPED FOR, ALL YOU HAD, YOU GAVE TO SAVE MANKIND, YOURSELVES YOU SCORNED TO SAVE.
