Description
A metal plaque set into a metal backboard frame. The plaque is headed with a seated figure of Brittania with trident and shield sits (in relief) on top of the Roll of Honour, alongside her are two wreaths of remembrance or victory. The Roll itself is in the shape of a pilaster which is capitalised simply in the Doric style. Alongside the pilaster are two pieces of relief-work in the shape of drapes. Beneath the Roll is a crest with an S with three stripes through it, either sides of this are the dates of the war; 1914- 1919. The crest is garlanded.
