History
There are 23 stained glass windows in the Guildhall, most being unveiled at the official opening of the rebuilt Guildhall in 1912, with additions in 1913, 1925, and 1989. In WW2 the windows were removed for safekeeping, being reinstated in 1945. They were damaged by explosions in 1972. and most, if not all, were replaced based on the original watercolour drawings. In 2013 they were restored as part of the Guildhall restoration of that year.
