- Description
- Bronze plaque with three columns of names on natural stone plinth. The Affray was lost on a training exercise on 16-17 April 1951, and lies 7.5 miles NW of Alderney. On 16 April 2013 a similar memorial (WMR 96745) was unveiled on Gosport Esplanade by Mary Henry, the widow of Lieut Derek Foster (her 1st husband) - one of those lost. At that date she was one of only 3 surviving widows.
