SOCII/ QUI IN GALLIA OCCIDIT DIE VIIIº NOVEMBRIS MCMXIV/ PATRIAE SANGUINEM SUUM LARGITUS./ HANC MENSAM D.D./ MATER FRATER SORORES SUPERSTITES. (Translation: The surviving mother, brother and sisters of Gerard Rupert Laurie Anderson, Fellow, who fell in France on 8 November 1914, shedding his blood for his country, have given this table for the use of All Souls College, and in his memory.)
