Description
Horizontally mounted rectangular brass plaque. Family crest and motto 'Fidem Respice' to left side of the incised inscription. There is a bee etched on the wrist of the raised hand within the family crest - perhaps an allusion to the Manchester Regiment, which also used the bee symbol (see WMR 99741 and 99742 in the Cathedral).

To the Glory of God/ and in Loving Memory of/ Thomas Albert Bazley/ Who Died on July 23rd 1911. Aged 65 years./ Also of his son/ Walter Neville Bazley/ Captain in the 6th Battalion Manchester Regiment/ who laid down his life for his King and Country/ in May 1915. Aged 42 years.
