Description
25 Pounder Gun/Howitzer on a low brick base with stainless steel dedicatory plaque. Although erroneously described as an Anti-tank Gun on the plaque the 25 Pounder was a conventional artillery piece used in an Anti-Tank role in the absence of an effective anti-tank weapon in the earlier part of the North African Campaign.
