- STONE CROSS ON A COLUMN, SET ON A PLINTH. THREE-STEP BASE. THE CROSS HAS SQUARE INSETS IN THE CORNER OF EACH ARM. THE FIRST WORLD WAR NAME PLAQUES ARE BRONZE SET AROUND THE PLINTH WITH THE DEDECATORY INSCRIPTION BENEATH WHICH IS ENGRAVED INTO THE STONEWORK. THE SECOND WORLD WAR & MALAYA NAMES AND INSCRIPTION ARE ON BRONZE PLAQUES SET INTO THE SIDES OF THE UPPER STEP. ROSE AND OAKLEAF AT CENTRE OF CROSS. LAUREL WREATHS ON SIDES OF COLUMNS AT BASE. TWO CARVED SQUARE LEAF BOSSES ON PLINTH SEPARATING START AND FINISH OF INSCRIPTION.
