- Description
- MEMORIAL CHAPEL. SMALL BRASS PLAQUE BEARS INSCRIPTION IN INCISED BLACK LETTERING. At rear is a reredos brought from St. Mary's R.C. Church, otherwise wall, the chapel is unenclosed, set between the pillars, and its area designated by the patterned floor, made with red tiles and cream tiles patterned with red, set in geometric patterns. On the north above an aumbry, is a small brass plate, which bears the dedication. At the top is a badge of the Royal Fusiliers, in pewter? raised in half relief. The lettering is sunk casting and enamelled black, using Roman capitals throughout.
