- Description
- On wall in entrance hall, wooden (Oak, taken from HMS Brittania) board with triangular pediment, beige border and four columns of names on a black panel. The dedication, in gold-painted Roan lettering, is within the pediment. Each of the four columns of names is headed by a small gold-painted cross with a red poppy at its centre. The space underneath the dedication is divided into four panels by flat pillars which are arched at the top. These panels bear the names in a single column on each of the dead from 1914-18, handwritten in gold paint using Roman capitals throughout, and at the top of each panel is a gold-painted cross with a red poppy at centre. At the bottom, the last two names in every column are from 1939-45.
