- History
- The memorial was originally erected in Bow Street Police Station at 28 Bow Street, which closed in 2006. (That former Station has since been converted into 'Bow Street Police Museum'). Responsibility for policing that area was transferred to Charing Cross Police Station, to which the memorial board commemorating Bow Street Police Station's WW2 casualties was consequently moved.
