Description
OVAL-HEADED PEDIMENT SURMOUNTS AN OAK BOARD. NAMES IN SIX COLUMNS GILT LETTERING ON A SEPARATE DARKER WOOD PANEL WHICH HAS BEEN PLACED IN THE CENTRE. FOUR COLUMNS ARE FOR WW1 NAMES AND TWO COLUMNS ARE FOR WW2 NAMES. DEDICATORY INSCRIPTION IS IN RELIEF AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE MAIN BOARD. AN ANGEL HEAD AND WINGS FLANK THE UPPER SIDES OF THE BOARD AND BELOW THEM A FOLIATE GARLANDS. BALNK SHIELD WITH FRONDS BELOW IT AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE PEDIMENT
