Description
Memorial arch. Arms of the hospital are placed above the names of the fallen on the front of the pillars. The names of the fallen from WW1 are placed on the front of the memorial and the names from WW2 on the back. Also present is a plaque recording the re-erection of the arch at its current site in 1994. The memorial commemorates the medical students and staff from Guy's Hospital who died in WW1, many of them whilst helping the sick and wounded on the front line.
