- History
- The first 23 names on the A Division plaque were listed on it at the time it was erected just after World War 1. Following research subsequently conducted by retired Chief Superintendent Albert Leach, it was discovered that four casualties had been omitted from the memorial (i.e. Oswald Holt, Francis Calow, John Arthur Holmes and William Gibson). In 2007 those four names were therefore added to the plaque; among those present at the ceremony held to mark this was the grandson of Oswald Holt.
