- RELIEF SCULPTURE In the South transept, centre bay, a marble wall monument carved in high relief with a female allegory (Britannia) and an angel (Victory) hanging a medallion portrait of a man on to a palm tree. To the right is represented the stern of a boat ('Theseus'), to the left a crouching lion
