Project Description

To mark the First World War centenary, we looked to identify the homes of soldiers from Trefriw whose names are on the village Cenotaph and then place a poppy on each door featuring the details of their individual service. We also assembled an exhibition featuring historical information about the key battles where local soldiers were involved, which was displayed in the village hall. The project was self-funded, with research completed by members of the Trefriw Historical Society.
