- Sheffield Daily Telegraph - Saturday 06 March 1915 At the annual meeting of the New Mills Conservative Club, Mr. A. W. Lowe was re-elected president, Mr. J. R. Bowden chairman, Mr. A. Walker secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. B. Ward assistant secretary, and Messrs. W. Harrop and H. Moore representatives to the High Peak Conservative Association. Names of members who have joined the forces since the war are to be inscribed on a roll of honour, given by Mr. Harrop.
