- Condition
- History
- With the closure of the chapel and conversion to luxury flats, the roll was removed from its frame and disposed of in a skip, from which it was retrieved. By 2008 only one Methodist Church existed in the town, in a modern building financed by the sale of former sites, which did not accept any responsibility for memorials formerly in local churches; there are 6 Methodist memorials noted as being in need of relocation. Ultimately it was passed to Chester Archives. The Roll of Honour is showing signs of its poor treatment, having a number of holes which obscure a number of the names.
