Description
Wall-mounted nowy-headed white marble tablet on support tablet. Moulded laurel wreath surrounding a latin cross in the head of the plaque. The first line of the dedication is arched around the wreath. Names are in two columns. The quotation is in italics.
Inscription
To the Glory of God/ and In Ever Grateful Memory of/ the Men of this Parish,/ who gave their lives,/ for King & Country in the Great War/ 1914-1919/ (NAMES)/ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS./ THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS."/ ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS. 1921.
