- Description
- FRAMED AND GLAZED ILLUMINATED ROLL OF HONOUR INSCRIPTION IS FLANKED BY TWO COLUMNS SUPORTING A PEDIMENT. IN THE CENTRE OF THE PEDIMENT IS DEPICTED A LION AND A UNICORN WITH BADGE BETWEEN THEM AND UNION FLAG DEPICTED IN THE BACKGROUND. THE FLAGS OF THE ALLIES ARE DEPICTED AT EACH END OF THE PEDIMENT. EACH SET OF FLAGS HAS A WREATH WITH AND IMAGE WITHIN IT PLACED IN THE CENTRE OF THEM. THE LEFT HAND WINMAGE IS UNKNOWN BUT THE RIGHT HAND IMAGE SHOWS A BATTLESHIP. AT THE BOTTOM CENTRE OF THE ROLL OF HONOUR IS DEPICTED A MEDALLION WITH A SOLDIER STANDING GUARD OVER HIS WOUNDED COMRADE. ALONG THE BASE OF THE MEMORIAL A TRAIN IS DEPICTED
