- Large board with WW1 soldier figure carved in the centre and flanked by the names. Dedicatory inscription placed along the base. Seven additional soldier figures flank the main board, each in low relief Each soldier figure is in full service dress and represents periods in the regiments history form the middle of the 18th century through to the end of WW1. Battle honours inscribed at the top of the board.

- 1968: THE CENTRAL WW1 SOLDIER FIGURE AND THE SIDE WINGS WITH THE SOLDIERS CARVED ON THEM WERE MISLAID DURING THE MOVE TO PONTEFRACT. THEY WER ELATER FOUND BUT WERE DECAYED AND SO WERE DESTORYED. A CARDBOARD FIGURE NOW REPLACES THE CENTRAL FIGURE
