- RECTANGULAR BRASS PLAQUE MOUNTED ONTO A BLACK BACKBOARD IN SOUTH WALL OF NAVE. INCISED INSCRIPTION WITH NAMES IN THREE COLUMNS ENTWINED FOLIATE BORDER ON THREE SIDES OF THE PLAQUE WITH A TUDOR ROSE IN EACH CORNER; SHIELD OF BERWICK UPON TWEED AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE PLAQUE The names of two Mayors underneath and to each side. Below this, the words "Borough of Berwick on Tweed" are formed in an upward curve, above the dedication. All this lettering is sunk in casting in elongated Roman capitals. The names appear in three columns, sunk in casting in plain capitals.
