Obelisk on a high pedestal standing on six steps. Four cartouches on each side of the pedestal have the names of sixteen battles. The decoration is all in bronze. Below the cartouches is the School Crest and round the base the School motto. Swags hang from cannon balls at the base of the pedestal and four trusses support the angles with cherubs heads in helmets. On each of the four sides are oval bronze shields with inscriptions.
