- FIGURE OF SOLDIER, STANDING AT EASE, IN UNIFORM WITH PITH HELMET AND RIFLE IN RIGHT HAND. FIGURE SURMOUNTS LARGE STONE PLINTH OF GRANITE AND MARBLE. FOUR COLUMNS, ONE AT EACH CORNER OF CENTRAL PLINTH. NAMES ON TWO SIDES IN INCISED BLACK LETTERING. THIRD SIDE BEARS INSCRIPTION. FOUR SIDE BEARS METAL SHIELD AND EMBLEM IN RELIEF.
