Description
Ornate tablet and relief. Pitched at top with ionic columns. Central panel is mounted relief of Capt Agar-Robartes surrounded by oval laurel relief. Inscription in beneath the relief in black lettering. Foliated design either side of the inscription. There is a family crest at the top centre.

TO THE MEMORY OF/ CAPTAIN THE HON THOMAS CHARLES REGINALD/ AGAR-ROBARTES/ COLDSTREAM GUARDS, M.P. FOR ST. AUSTELL DIVISION/ OF CORNWALL WHO LOST HIS LIFE IN FRANCE SEPT. 30TH 1915/ AFTER RESCUING A WOUNDED COMRADE UNDER HEAVY/ FIRE FOR WHICH GALLANT EXPLOIT HE WAS RECOMMENDED/ FOR THE VICTORIA CROSS/ MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF LORDS AND PRESENT AND/ FORMER MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF COMMONS MOURNING/ A LOYAL COLLEAGUE AND A BRAVE SOLDIER HAVE ERECTED / THIS TABLET IN THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF CORNWALL.
