- Description
- Wall mounted memorial comprising a white marble tablet attached to a two-concave-cornered, shouldered nowy-headed black marble backboard. Head of tablet incorporates a carved decoration of two draped flags on crossed spears. The tablet contains four concave (scalloped) corners and bears an incised inscription infilled with black paint.

- IN MEMORY OF / DE LACY DAYRELL PASSY / CAPTAIN 4TH REGIMENT MADRAS PIONEERS, / WHO WAS BORN IN THIS PARISH, JUNE 6TH 1852, / DIED WHILST SERVING WITH HIS REGIMENT / AT DULOJAL, IN AFGHANISTAN, / FEBRUARY 3RD 1886. / ERECTED BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS / AS A TOKEN OF THEIR ESTEEM.
