This plaque was brought back to Britain as a souvenir by Flight Lieutenant A.H. Ross. He was stationed in Germany and Czechoslovakia at the end of the Second World War as a Combined Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee (CIOS) Team Leader, representing the Ministry of Aircraft Production, investigating various wartime military and industrial targets.
