reverse has following quote stuck to it
'Page 51. "History of Z Coy. 11th. East Lancs. By F. Sayer & P. Crabtree. "Men climbed out of the mud to man the firestep at "standto". They wre mud coloured themselves and looked like grotesque statues, manning a mud hole of some prehistoric age".
This plague [sic] is copy of the frontespiece.'
