Coverless album, possibly with the first few leaves missing. Album contains prints relating to the service of an unknown Second World War German officer in an unknown unit. On the front page is a metal helmet-shaped badge, possibly similar to der Stahlhelm badges. The photographs indicate a mixed service adminstrative unit. Images denote skiing, more likely for pleasure than training; various group photographs and scenes in offices and in work life. One image depicts General Machensen during a medal presentation.
Also contained, and perhaps giving an indication as to the possible location of either the hometown of the serviceman or the georgraphic place of creation of the photographs are a series of 'tourist prints' depicting Sennelager.
