(Tape 1) General views of ships after their arrival in Gdansk: Aster, Hurworth and Cattistock seen arriving and mooring. Raising of NATO flag, encouraged by cameraman (who comments "come on, get it up"). Divers on board Delfzijl. Dutch sailor on quayside hands out stickers to civilian visitors. General shots of Hurworth and Delfzijl at quayside. Party of small children visits Hurworth. Cut-in shots of the various ships and of flags (White Ensign and Royal Netherlands Navy Jack). (Tape 6) Divers from Delfzijl in the harbour at Gdynia; they clime on board. Close-ups of sailor from Aster. Divers recover park bench from water - it is hauled aboard. Flag parade on quayside: sailors from various navies hold their flags (sailors wearing hats for Cuxhaven, Aster, Koninklijke Marine [Royal Netherlands Navy] and HMS Cattistock are seen). Polish commander and other VIPs visit Cattistock: they are piped aboard and are greeted by CINCHAN. General views of maritime monument in Gdynia. Visit to Polish naval base: NATO officers are piped aboard the Polish Navy sailing ship Orp Iskra, a barquentine used for naval training. Wreathlaying ceremony: Close-up of Polish sailor ("Marynarka Wojenna" - Polish Navy - on cap). General views of the various ships in harbour; members of the public come to visit. (10 September)
