Royal Marines anniversary ceremony on Gibraltar for the liberation of the island of Walcheren in the Netherlands.
Home Fleet Royal Marines walk along Canteen Road past HMS Rooke. On the parade ground, the Marines form up and a ceremony takes place, followed by march-off Regimental Sergeant Major West gives orders, and Colonel Griffiths describes the Citation. The Marines are addressed by the Reverend Armstrong. Buglers sound fanfare. Colonel Griffiths takes the salute. After the ceremony, the Royal Marines Band and detachments return to their ships.
