Object description
A 1/11th scale dynamic model was catapulted on to calm water. Tests were made over a range of speeds and attitudes with different flap settings and at angles of descent of 1º and 5º. Tests show that aircraft will have an extremely critical ditching behaviour. Report No Aero 2190 by R J Monaghan, applies.
