Papers (75pp) relating to his service, under the pseudonym Michael O'Moore, running the Special Operations executive caique base at the Turkish port of Egrilar (1944), engaged in carrying arms, ammunition and other supplies to SOE missions and guerrillas on the Greek islands and mainland, including a report by wireless operator P Karasoulis relating to a mission to Chios (September 1943), a report on supply runs from Egrilar (June 1944), correspondence, including with Ron Yates, covering a reunion trip of special forces personnel to the island of Chios to mark the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Aegean islands, lists of resistance members, newspaper reports, ts biographical notes (3pp) covering his family background and post-war Army career as well as wartime service, copies of 64 photographs relating to his service in East Africa with the Sudan Signals (1941 - 1943), with SOE as 'Michael O'Moore', showing also other members of his crew and their vessels (1944) and while based in the United States at the Pentagon in 1945, as well as photographs of other documents and items including an ms letter and three ms cards written from East Africa between April and July 1941.
