Photocopy (138pp) of ts memoir covering his service as a Motor Transport driver (eventually corporal) in the RAF, January 1940 - January 1946, including service with: No 12 Wireless Observation Unit in England (January - June 1940) and Northern Ireland (June 1940 - October 1941), with No 7 Supply and Transport Column in India (January 1942 and November - December 1942), Burma (February - May 1942) and China (Kunming/Chengtu, May - November 1942), with 165 Wing (January - March 1943) and 170 Wing in India (until December 1944) and Burma training, discipline, hierarchy and dogmatism (particularly during his post war service at RAF Halton, September- December 1945), on a small 'mutiny' at Madras harbour (January 1942), the final withdrawals from Magwe, Burma (April - May 1942), life in China, the Chinese people and army practices, crossing the Salween (7 May 1942), the return to Burma in 1945 and the changes in morale of 14th Army.
