British No 101B Mark IIJ fuze (Sectioned), manufactured April 1918. The No 101B percussion fuze was introduced in 1916. It was similar to the No 101 but with the addition of a shutter and a weaker detent spring making it suitable for use in heavy howitzers (12-inch and 15-inch). This type of fuze was manufactured only by Royal Ordnance Factories from selected lots of 101s and ran to ten 'Marks'. It was declared obsolete in 1945.
