After a day of war work, men and women arrive at Morley College to attend evening classes. They climb a temporary wooden stairway which leads them over the bomb-damaged parts of the college. Half of the building is missing, after having received a direct hit in 1940. This photograph is taken on Westminster Bridge Road, looking west. King Edward Walk is just visible in the background.
