Air Vice Marshal J M Robb, erstwhile Deputy Air Commander, North West African Air Forces, and Air Officer Commanding RAF North West Africa, sitting at his desk at La Marsa, Tunisia, after the absorption of his command by Headquarters Mediterranean Allied Air Forces. Robb was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff (Air) SHAEF shortly after.
