Window mounted black and white photographic print. Base board is cream and window is white.

Label

Kennard has produced a prolific number of anti-war images. His work is an example of how photomontage can be used to very great effect. These strong and memorable monochrome images have been widely circulated in poster form. His version of Constable's famous 'Hay-Wain', showing it loaded with Cruise missiles, is one of the best-known British images of anti-nuclear protest of the 1980s.
