Description
Obelisk situated within a semicircular low brick wall. Wreath on upper front face of obelisk and wreath and crossed swords on lower front face.

1939/ 1945 TO THE MEN/ OF STYAL/ WHO LAID/ DOWN THEIR/ LIVES IN THE/ GREAT WAR/1914/1919 1914/ 1919 (NAMES) Plaque: This memorial formerly stood at/ the edge of Hollin Lane since 1921./ Due to the subsequent large increase in traffic, it was relocated to this new site in July 2002 as the result of a fund raising project by Styal Village Association.
