Description
A carved wood figure of Christ crucified below a sloping wooden roof , set on a central stone plinth , on which are the dates 1914 - 1918 . The plinth is set into a rectangular stepped stone base , on the front face of which , either side of the plinth are the names in cast lead letters . On the bottom of the stepped base , extending across the whole width is the dedication incised in shallow ornate lettering .

1914 1918/(names) /TO THE TENDER AND LOVING HANDS OF THE ALL MERCIFUL SAVIOUR WE COMMEND THE SOULS OF OUR BRETHREN WHO FROM THIS PARISH AND CONGREGATION RESPONDED TO THE CALL OF DUTY FOUGHT FOR THE FLAG AND DIED FOR THE COUNTRY./
