- Description
- A pre-printed form with names hand written by calligraphy, all in a wooden frame. All borders have leaves. The left hand border also has the shields and the names of Canada, Ireland, Wales and India. The right border is similar but for Australia, Scotland, New Zealand and Africa. The bottom border has unidentified shields, cannons and drums, while the top border has the title and two warships. The centre of the roll of honour is a facsimile reproduction of the 1831 Treaty (between the UK, Belgium, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, France, Prussia and Russia) guaranteeing the neutrality of Belgium. This is flanked by two columns of names. Certain letters, as shown in the inscription, are in red, otherwise the whole is in black ink.
