Description
White marble tablet with triangular-headed pedestal containing an open book motif in relief and with decorative pedestal at its base. The upper part of the tablet is the original WW1 memorial, with an ornamental column at each side. The lower part is the WW2 addition, which has been fitted between the WW1 memorial and the pedestal. The whole is mounted on a dark slate backboard.

WW1 section: ER COF ANWYL A PHARCHUS/ AM/ Y BRODYR CWYMPASANT YN YSTOD RHYFEL MAWR/ 1914 - 1918./ MILWYR MORWYR/ (Names)/ AI DICHONADWY EU HANGHOFIO'N LLWYR?/ (NA,)/ "YN ANGHOF NI CHANT FOD" WW2 section: HEFYD/ AM Y BRODYR A GWYMPODD YN YR AIL RYFEL MAWR/ 1939 - 1945/ AWYRENWYR/ (Names)/ MORWYR/ (Names)/ "EU HABERTH NID A HEIBIO." Translation: In loving and respectful memory of the brothers who fell during the Great War 1914-1918. Soldiers (names), Sailors (names). Can we forget them completely? (NA). " They will not be forgotten." Also to the brothers who fell in the Second Great War 1919-1945. Airmen (names), Sailors (names). "Their sacrifice shall not be forgotten."
